Vehicle Processing Paperwork Requirements:
- Certificate of Title and all supporting original Vehicle documents
- 2 Copies frond and back of title
- 5 copies of the dock receipts
Customs paperwork:
- Original plus 5 copies front and back of the Title and / or bill of sale
- 4 copies of completed dock receipt, including VIN, POD, AES / ITN Number, weight, value, booking number, and Vessel w/ Voyage number.
Receiving Criteria for all vehicles:
- Must have a key
- No fluids leaking from the vehicles
- No household goods or trash.
- Must be clean with no mud or other contaminants.
- Any broken windows must be covered to prevent water ingress.
Receiving Criteria for Runners (cars / SUVs):
- Must have a functioning driver’s seat door, seatbelt, a complete windshield, be steerable, and have brakes; with no broken glass, bodily fluids, sharp metal, hanging exploded airbags, or anything that could harm the driver or hinder the safe ability to drive the vehicle.
- Nothing in vehicle other than the spare and the jack.
- About ¼ tank of fuel
Receiving Criteria for NON – Runners (cars / SUVs):
- Must have a key.
- Nothing in vehicle other than the spare and the jack.
- Less than ¼ tank of fuel
Receiving Criteria for Trucks:
- Must a functioning driver’s seat door, seatbelt, a complete windshield, be steerable, and have brakes; with no broken glass, bodily fluids, sharp metal, hanging exploded airbags, or anything that could harm the driver or hinder the safe ability to drive the vehicle.
- Should be in good running order.
- Nothing in or on the truck other than well secured vehicle specific spare parts
- Not much less than ¼ tank of fuel

Delivery Instructions
Limitations
- Running vehicles and towable units only (No fork lift units allowed) (auto must have wheels and driver must unload truck. We do not have the means to unload autos from a truck.)
- No towable high and heavy units accepted
- No leaking fluids
- No heavily damaged vehicles; accidental
- no jagged metals, broken glass, or leaking fluids
- driver side door must open and close without issues (runners)
- broken windows must be covered with appropriate plastic wrap
- no signs of water damage (flooded or submerged)
- must have a key
- must be drivable, steerable, and have working brake
- Autos cannot overheat if booked as a runner
- cargo cannot have any unmanifested cargo (only spare tire and jack)
- cargo cannot have any obvious signs of potential fire hazards
- self-propelled cargo must have a minimum 1/ 4 tank of fuel (gasoline or diesel)
- cargo must be clean with no evidence of mud or other organic material
- self-propelled cargo cannot be piggy backed
- box trailers must be unlocked and empty. Under no circumstances is contraband acceptable
- tank truck(s) or tanker(s) must offer a “gas free certificate” clearly stating that the tank no longer
- contains hazardous material and is safe for export
Paper Work Requirements for Exports
- 3 copies of dock receipt (Page 1)
- Original title and 1 copy of title (front & back) (Page 2)
- Lien-release, bill of sale, and original supporting papers plus 1 copy (if applicable)

- Vehicles must be de delivered with titles and dock receipt. Deliveries without titles and dock receipt will be rejected, unless authorized by Horizon Terminals.
- Dock Receipt must state booking number, vessel/voyage number, year, make, model, dimensions (Cubic Feet) and weight (Kilograms) of each vehicle by VIN number. AES must be filed and ITN number recorded on Dock Receipt..
