Data Analyst – Lebanon

Who are we looking for?

We are seeking a Data Analyst who is passionate for turning raw data into actionable insights.

As candidate, you should have a strong background in database design, administration, maintenance, and development, in addition to expertise in Power BI for data visualization and scripting for data manipulation.

What will you do?

• Utilize your database expertise to design, administer, maintain, and develop our data systems, to ensure robust and reliable data management.
• Collaborate with external ERP providers to establish efficient data collection.
• Work closely with management to understand their data needs and build interactive and visually appealing dashboards using Power BI.
• Employ scripting skills to enhance data transformation, automate repetitive tasks, and optimize data workflows.
• Perform in-depth data analysis to uncover trends, patterns, and insights that drive informed business decisions.
• Identify data quality issues, troubleshoot data anomalies, and implement solutions to ensure data accuracy.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of data processes and drive best practices for data management, reporting, and scripting.
• Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in data analysis, SQL, scripting, and data visualization.
• Document data processes, workflows, and scripts for future reference and team collaboration.

What do we expect of you?

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics) or equivalent practical experience.
• 2-5 years of experience in data analysis, database design, administration, maintenance, and development.
• Strong proficiency in Power BI for creating interactive and visually compelling dashboards.
• Proven ability to coordinate and communicate effectively with external vendors, specifically ERP providers, to establish smooth data interchange processes using scripting languages.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, R, or similar, for data manipulation, automation, and enhancement.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
• Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on data accuracy and quality.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills, enabling collaboration with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Self-motivated and able to manage multiple tasks with minimal supervision.
• Familiarity with Oracle NetSuite is a huge advantage.
