Director of Sallaum Lines DMCC, Mr. Hassan Sallaum, paid a courtesy visit to Her Excellency Eng. Hessa Ahmed Hamdan Al Malek, Executive Director of the Maritime Sector at the Federal Transport Authority-Land & Maritime (FTA), United Arab Emirates.
Mr. Sallaum reaffirmed Sallaum Lines’ commitment to contributing to the UAE’s maritime growth and innovation, highlighting the company’s active role as a dedicated member of the Emirates Shipping Association. The maritime community remains optimistic about future strategic initiatives under Her Excellency’s visionary leadership—initiatives that are expected to further strengthen the sector and foster increased industry collaboration.
During the meeting, Mr. Sallaum expressed his sincere gratitude for the UAE Government’s continued support and commitment to the advancement of the maritime industry, particularly in Dubai and across the Emirates. He also presented a model of Sallaum Lines’ latest Pure Car and Truck Carrier (PCTC) vessel to Her Excellency as a gesture of appreciation.
Netherlands | Breakbulk Europe 2025 Appearance
Sallaum Lines team was back for this year’s Breakbulk Europe 2025 edition, with various key leaders from automotive OEMs, suppliers, logistics, and tech providers for two and a half days.
The team was immersed in engaging discussions, expert insights, interactive workshops, and breakouts tackling the European and global automotive logistics industry, providing plenty of opportunities to connect and build valuable business relationships.

Germany | Sallaum Lines Marks Its Debut at Transport Logistic
Sallaum Lines has officially made its first appearance at Transport Logistic 2025, the leading global trade fair for logistics, mobility, IT, and supply chain management.
Participating in this year’s edition provided the opportunity to introduce the brand-integrated RoRo shipping and terminal services to a broader audience and explore strategic avenues for collaboration.
This engagement at Transport Logistic reflects Sallaum Lines’ ongoing efforts to strengthen global partnerships and contribute to the future of efficient and sustainable vehicle logistics.

China | Mawei Shipyard Visit
Sallaum Lines visited Mawei Shipyard in China to witness a key milestone in the construction of our newly ordered vessel, Ocean Breeze — a 7,500-car capacity LNG dual-fuel RoRo ship.
Built under the FUJIAN EVERSUN JINJIANG CO., LTD Shipbuilding Bureau, Ocean Breeze was successfully launched from the dock, marking the first undocking operation completed by Mawei Shipyard in 2025.
At the time of launch, 100% of the vessel’s cables had been pulled and released, engine room wiring was 95% complete, electrical equipment installation had been finalized, and the vessel was ready for full-system testing.

North America | Automotive Logistics Finished Vehicle Logistics
Sallaum Lines joined Automotive Logistics Finished Vehicle Logistics North America 2025 (FVLNA) in Huntington Beach, California, for three days packed with speaking sessions, discussions, and networking.
During the event, vehicle logistics leaders were brought together to share insights and strategies in response to evolving trade policies and tariff uncertainties. Despite these challenges, a sense of resilience and forward-thinking dominated the discussions.
The event’s agenda tackled some of the most pressing issues facing the industry—ranging from improving supply chain visibility and optimizing logistics networks, to embracing digital transformation and enhancing multimodal transport solutions.

Portugal | ECG General Assembly & Spring Congress 2025
Representing Sallaum Lines at the ECG General Assembly & Spring Congress 2025, our COO, Mr. Kay Lemcke, along with Sallaum Terminal’s Managing Director, Mr. David Van Ballaert, attended the event that took place in Cascais, Portugal from 22-23 May 2025.
This year’s edition offered an exceptional gathering filled with insightful presentations, strategic discussions, and networking opportunities. The two-day event covered key updates on ECG activities, Board elections, and a report from the President, along with an inspiring lineup of speakers highlighting the latest AI trends and innovations in Finished Vehicle Logistics.

UAE | Seatrade Maritime Logistics Middle East Visit
Representing Sallaum Lines, CRO Natalie Sallaum attended the ESA Congress during UAE Maritime Week 2025—an exclusive networking event held under the patronage of the UAE Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure and in collaboration with Seatrade Maritime Logistics Middle East.
Hosted at the Dubai World Trade Center on May 6, the congress brought together industry leaders, innovators, and policymakers to address global trade risks, explore the future of energy transport and alternative fuels, and highlight the vital role of satellite communication in enhancing maritime operations and crew welfare.

China | Automotive Logistics International Conference
Sallaum Lines Trade Manager in China, Henry Mao, represented Sallaum Lines at the 2025 Automotive Logistics International Conference, a leading global platform for dialogue and collaboration in the automotive logistics sector.
The event brought together industry experts, government officials, and supply chain leaders to exchange insights on the future of China’s automotive exports, address logistics needs, and promote global cooperation within the automotive logistics sector. A signing Ceremony between CALA and ECG also took place, marking a significant step toward deeper China-Europe cooperation in automotive logistics. This strategic cooperation aims to align standards, promote industrial integration, and support the global expansion of China’s automotive supply chain. Both parties committed to principles of openness, mutual benefit, and innovation, signaling a shared vision for high-quality global logistics development.
