As a maritime shipping company, upgrading our satellite communication services is necessary to enable efficient fleet management, decarbonization, and crew welfare aboard our existing and upcoming fleet in line with our strategic plan. On 25 April 2025, Sallaum Lines is proud to announce that it has entered into an agreement with Inmarsat Maritime, making us one of the world-leading companies adopting Inmarsat’s NexusWave fully managed bonded connectivity service. 

Serving as our connectivity partner, NexusWave solution will provide secure, ultra-fast connectivity with unlimited data. With the evolution of maritime regulations, the need for connectivity is skyrocketing. The solutions provided will allow us access to numerous benefits that optimize and enhance efficiency, reduce operating costs, draw in and keep skilled team members; as well as the ability to ensure operational resilience and create competitive advantages. 

With a strong focus on enhancing connectivity at sea, Sallaum Lines is implementing NexusWave to support advanced data collection, IoT-driven decision-making, and seamless operational monitoring.
