Sallaum Lines Commences Cyprus Flag Registration as Part of Strategic Move
Sallaum Lines has begun registering its vessels under the Cyprus flag, marking a key milestone in the company’s strategic move to Cyprus.

Ocean Breeze and Ocean Legacy are now officially Cyprus-flagged vessels. Over the course of the year, Ocean Express and Ocean Navigator will also be added to the Cyprus registry, further strengthening fleet alignment under a respected and internationally recognized flag.

The move reflects Sallaum Lines’ focus on operational efficiency, regulatory consistency, and long-term growth. Cyprus is one of the world’s leading maritime jurisdictions, offering a strong regulatory framework and a mature shipping ecosystem that supports high operational standards.

Ocean Class Vessels: Efficiency and Sustainability at Scale
At the core of Sallaum Lines’ fleet development strategy are its Ocean Class 7,500 CEU LNG Dual-Fuel (DF) vessels, designed to deliver significant gains in fuel efficiency and environmental performance.

These next-generation vessels are capable of operating on LNG, resulting in substantial reductions in CO₂ emissions, NOₓ, SOₓ, and particulate matter compared to conventional fuel oil propulsion. The Ocean Class design enables meaningful fuel consumption savings, improved energy efficiency, and reduced operating costs, while ensuring full compliance with current and forthcoming international environmental regulations.

By investing in LNG dual-fuel technology and high-capacity, optimized vessel design, Sallaum Lines continues to strengthen its commitment to sustainable shipping, operational reliability, and long-term value creation for customers and partners.

This combination of strategic flag alignment and modern fleet investment reinforces Sallaum Lines’ position as a forward-looking carrier, well positioned for growth in an increasingly efficiency- and sustainability-driven maritime market.
